white woman scary
Poetry
Linsey Itak
clumps clutter the aged hardwood below
cracked in dilapidated fury fried
hair clatters once forgotten reveries
of youthful relationships left isolated,
curdling like the milk in your forgotten
dunkin donuts’ pumpkin spiced latte
with an extra pump of hazelnut.
digits grip dangerously on garden
shears sharp yet tantalizingly sexy
overseers' howls depress cheers of
liquid misery stained scarlet i want
to snip you in two
margot robbie plays barbie dreamhouse,
i bet you cried in the amphitheater lol
polyester thighs melted mushy in the
thundering lamp light brittle plastic
breaks softly under tender pressure
gaze scrutinizing the three vowels,
four consonants title gifted upon
lizard skin your name tastes
like shit on my tongue fyi cheap
wasabi without sushi sears
tastebuds to oblivion
a choir of melting microplastics
scream notes so sharp, hot breath
punctures deep in the shredded womb
of white woman feminism and shrieks
delightful agony to the seed of dread
disfigurement in deoxyribonucleic acid
total ribosomal arterial failure
your mighty mitochondria fuels irrigated
irritation, all energy converted to ceaseless
rage-baiting instead of the feast of
hope or joy or some other tacky bullshit
a bucket of kfc’s extra crispy white
meat, thunder-thighs don’t save lives
since teeth simply shred spoiled
calves as large as the andes, camel
humps obtusely structure your figure
sybau and open your eyes!
wake up, woman
you’re an amalgamation of what it
is to be human, half-cyborg
half-whatever-the-fuck
halloween is over queen,
so, rip off that skinsuit of yours
which, btw babe, doesn’t fit you
so please, cope with the inevitable
doom that taints social serenity with
fake-woke taylor swift black
widow opulence
