Lorely Hassman is a 2026 graduate at SUNY New Paltz. Her degree is in Early Childhood and Childhood Education, and she is currently completing her student teaching in Aniak, Alaska. Lorely has a minor in creative writing and enjoys crafting poetry, reading, and collaging in her free time.

Anihea Allen is a Senior at SUNY New Paltz. She is studying film and creative writing . She loves to collect cameras and screenplays.  She hopes to become a successful screenwriter.

Brionna McDonald is a Senior English and Theatre Design and Technology Major, with a minor in creative writing. Brionna has had an interest in writing and storytelling since she was able to pick up a pen. Recently, she has enjoyed exploring the writing mediums of poetry and memoir. She has plans to start her Masters in Adolescent Education within the next year.

Julia Ghazi is a third-year student at SUNY New Paltz. She was born in Concord, Massachusetts and raised in South Florida. Her work has previously been published in Rowayat Magazine

Dakota Jasmine Escurra is a Junior at SUNY New Paltz. She likes to play the piano and enjoys listening to The Smiths. She's currently studying computer science.

Lark is an undergraduate Creative Writing student at SUNY New Paltz and a born-and-raised Hudson Valley poet fascinated by rats, wandering suburban hellscapes, and stuffing poems fat with nonsensical parentheticals. Vivienne (Vee-vee) Knouse-Frenzer is a Gleplairian visiting student scholar from the Keplar-1344A system. Escaping prosecution from the Viltrumite Galactic black-ops deathsquad to New Paltz, New York. Here she will bless the humans with the gift of poetic geniusi and metaheteromogenouscrystaline critique. She is grateful for humanity.

Sophia "Sopi" Sanikidze is a senior at SUNY New Paltz. She loves horror and mythology. She has previously published work in the Stonesthrow Review and is a Scholastic Gold Key Winner.

Lianna Zuvich is a senior at SUNY New Paltz majoring in English concentrating in creative writing, graduating in August 2026. She mainly focuses on creative nonfiction and poetry, often drawing inspiration from her memories, emotions, and fleeting moments. The goal of her work is to explore longing, presence, and absence, capturing the quiet tension between reality and imagination.

William Hamm is an undergraduate student majoring in visual arts, minoring in creative writing, and graduating this semester. He used to dread writing prior to coming to New Paltz, he owes it to his incredible professors for giving him the room to fall in love with another art form.

Evelyn Gilman is a senior in college who enjoys storytelling through lots of different mediums. She is hoping to get her master's in library sciences and continue her artistic pursuits as hobbies.

Lindsey Johnson is an educator and a poet graduating from SUNY New Paltz in Spring 2026. This is Lindsey's first publication.

Carly Warner is a 2026 New Paltz graduate, who earned her degree in English and Creative Writing and Minored in Art Studio.

Mackenzie Troffa is Senior at SUNY New Paltz majoring in Psychology with a minor in Creative Writing. She is currently the President of New Paltz’s Long Story Short Book Club.

Luke Fiscella is a student at SUNY New Paltz majoring in creative writing and minoring in film studies. He was co-leader of his high school’s writing club, has written for several short films in New Paltz's Hawk Studios, and has interned at the Redding Sentinel in Connecticut.

Liam Levy is a New York based occasional poet who is not used to writing about himself in real life. His interests include music, film, and playing children’s trading card games. His forthcoming work is nonexistent, and he has no website. He hopes you enjoy his work.

Nicole Pottgen is a Senior at SUNY New Paltz who enjoys writing poetry, personal essays, and short fiction heavily influenced by music, nature, and surrealism. This is her second time being published in The Stonesthrow Review.

Ian Sherlock is a third-year student studying English at SUNY New Paltz. He began writing poetry in his sophomore year and will have his first poems published this Spring.

Nadia Dasi Tamayo is an undergraduate psychology and English major with a Creative Writing concentration, minoring in Evolutionary Studies. Her work ranges from psychological research to poetry and creative writing. Currently, she is interning at the New Paltz Disability Resource Center and plans to pursue graduate education in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Ella Joy is a poet studying creative writing and business. She self-published her first poetry book A Side of Tea and Poetry in 2024 and continues to publish poem-by-poem on her website ellajoy.com. In her free time Ella wanders campus leaving poems for strangers to find.

Ripley Butterfield is a public artist, writer, and library worker from Brooklyn, NY.

Siulee Olivera is a recent graduate of SUNY New Paltz’s creative writing program. Their short form writing has been featured in the Acentos Review and they have cowritten a number of independent short film projects. Siulee has also collaborated as a judge for the 2026 cycle of the Lambda Literary Awards.

Nate Kenny is a senior at SUNY New Paltz, and he spends too much money on books. He’s been published in Echo ReviewAlbion Review, and Zaum

Cal Murphy is a Junior at SUNY New Paltz studying philosophy and linguistics. He writes with the goal of exploring difficult questions through alternative perspectives.

Ari Benjamin is a Junior at SUNY New Paltz studying Creative Writing with a minor in Studio Art. She wishes to continue writing as a career.

Olivia Dillon is a rising senior at SUNY New Paltz majoring in English Creative Writing with a minor in History. She was recently accepted into the 4+1 program for Creative Writing and will be starting her classes this fall. She loves writing poetry and fiction while she has previously authored book reviews for her home's public library.
